WHAT TO EXPECT

Below is the timeline for the rehabilitation of Walnut Street Bridge.

RENOVATION SCHEDULE

Dates are subject to change due to unforseen circumstances.

March 2025

Sandblasting, priming and painting have been completed on all spans.
Half of the decking has been replaced
Electrical work is being completed on the half of the bridge that has new decking
Structural work continues on the half of the bridge that does not yet have new decking.
Project is on track for late September 2026 completion.

The bridge renovation will be complete and bridge will reopen.
