Apply for $1,000 Walnut Street Bridge Business Grants (Round 2)
The City of Chattanooga recognizes that small businesses are the vibrant heart of Chattanooga. The Walnut Street Bridge Construction Mitigation Grand is designed to assist businesses that depend on foot traffic and tourism from the Walnut Street Bridge.
We are entering a second round of grand funding for eligible businesses.

The deadline to apply is August 21, 2026.
To apply for the $1,000 Construction Mitigation payment:
1. Create an account for the new Economic Development Portal.
2. Click on log in at the top right; click on “Create an Account” at the bottom center of the page.
3. Click Business
4. Click on the Walnut Street Bridge Construction Mitigation Grant and apply.
